The AC panel is intended as a matching unit to our DC panel but will function as a stand alone unit if desired. It features two warning lights, one to indicate power available, and the second one to confirm that it is of the correct polarity. It is supplied with a loom and a DIN rail mounted connector block. Protection takes the form of an RCD with a choice of 16A or 40A current rating, and three separate thermal trips to provide a more controlled distribution of power. As standard, one 15A one 10A and one 5A are provided but these can be changed to order. A legend sheet with a selection of relevant labels is supplied.
This D.C. Panel has been designed primarily for the canal boat and small craft market It consists of twelve thermal re-settable circuit breakers, two LCD digital meters with backlights, and one 150Amp shunt which can be mounted in the +ve or ?ve battery lead. (other values to special order). The voltmeter can be switched to the engine start or domestic batteries but the current meter would only normally be used to monitor the domestic battery bank Also included is a heavy duty connector block.

The result is displayed on a gauge because we believe this is the most accurate way of presenting the infomation and makes it easy to predict the "number of days to empty". The gauge can be positioned anywhere in the boat as required. There is a choice of the new graphics gauge as shown, with back lighting to enable it to be read in dark corners, or at less cost our Compact gauge. Finally at extra cost a round VDO gauge is offered.
This unit switches both live and neutral and is capable of switching 20A at 240 volts. The switch has three positions. Shore Power - Off - Inverter
